6859 1965 Hatton

After losing its nameplates in 1965, it was always kept in clean condition. Paul Warner saysThis station looks to me like Hatton. Signalbox on platform, open footbridge at this time, the tall telegraph posts, junction, to Bearley and Stratford, beyond road bridge. s-r-s.org confirms the layout for the signalling seen. The photographer would be stood by the down loop as the train passes on the down main and indeed the Warwickshire Railways site confirms the location, I could not reconcile the LMS/BR bracket signal on the platform but one distant view confirms it as a replacement for the GWR one. Thanks Paul
