GWR Grange 4-6-0 No 6814 Enbourne Grange with the 'Devonian' at Hackney near Newton Abbot on 21 May 1957.

Peter Kerslake says "6814 'Enborne Grange' is heading home to its home shed at Newton Abbot after having taken the westbound 'Devonian' from Bristol Temple Meads from where it would have relieved a Midland Region engine, probably a 'Jubilee', that Region having worked the westbound 'Devonian' from Bradford through Leeds, Sheffield, Derby and Birmingham as far as Bristol.
Introduced in September of 1927 the 'Devonian' ran until June of 2002, the westbound service due into Kingswear at 7 p.m.".
