Taking the holidaymakers home to Wolverhampton.
A little girl on the right in Marine Drive gives a wave to 6871 , " Bourton Grange " as it heads away from the Westcountry with a mixed formation , the leading three coaches bearing roofboards whilst the seven at the rear appear to be in Midland Region maroon livery .
This train may be divided at Bristol Temple Meads although the photographer recorded it as a Wolverhampton train.
It's clearly a nice day , with lots of holidaymakers on the sea wall , and not many coats visible and the car park looks full , so all is well
