One of the handful of the Fowler LMS class 4F 0-6-0s that worked in Scotland, No 44328was at Perth shed together with a Holmes NBR class J36 0-6-0 No 65227 in spring 1962. Unlike their English counterparts, they mostly retained the rather more shapely Fowler pattern chimneys. Note also the Scottish practice of using the larger 10'' cabside numerals on ex LMS locos; usually those passing through St Rollox works
