Patriot 4-6-0 No 45513, from Carnforth shed, romps over Beattock summit with the 13-coach 2pm Manchester Victoria to Glasgow Central express in August 1961. It was banked by a 2-6-4T, the banker having just dropped off the back of the train before this photo was taken.
