LNER Gresley 'A1' class 4-6-2 No. 2547 'Doncaster'. Built at Doncaster in August 1924 and withdrawn in September 1963 as BR No. 60048. Ex-North Eastern Railway Worsdell 'R' (LNER 'D20') class 4-4-0 No. 2011. Built at Gateshead in August 1899 as NER No. 2011 and withdrawn in February 1951 as BR No. 62340.

The 'Flying Scotsman' arrives at York from the north with 'Doncaster' in charge. 2011 is ready to depart with a local train probably for Malton and the east coast.
