The large goods yard of Brookside Sidings can be seen beyond the bridge as GCR designed Robinson 'O4/3' 2-8-0 63695 passes through Guide Bridge station in 1951. The wooden wagon in the train, before it was 'pooled' was owned by Rossington Colliery near Doncaster.
