Happy days, when saving the wrappers from Lyons 'Zoom' ice lollies and entering a painting competition could win you a dream prize of riding behind an iconic steam locomotive like 'Flying Scotsman' from York to King's Cross. To win, you had to paint a lined picture of an A4 coming towards you. These were published in magazines such as 'Eagle' and 'Look and Learn'. Three other Zoom specials with other destinations were run on the same day, Sunday 30th August 1964. A lovely day by the look of it!
