Ouse Acres. just about a mile north of York Station is another of York's many outlying areas that did not regularly attract photographers. With an up express van freight, ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' 4-6-0 No. 61162 is passing the large BSC sugar beet factory. 61162 was built by Vulcan Foundry in May 1947 as LNER No. 1162 and was withdrawn in Dec. 1964.
