The late Paul Claxton's 35mm photography is a delight to restore. Perfectly exposed, developed and composed only the slightest adjustments are needed to produce gems like this. Taken on Sunday 16th September 1962, 'B1' No. 61153 is in charge of the 1X21 coded 17:30 Blackpool to Chesterfield train. The 1947 built locomotive is taking water at Salwick Troughs in Lancashire.
