BR Standard class 4MT 2-6-0 No 75009 and West Country 4-6-2 No 34041 Wilton leave Evercreech Junction with the second part of the northbound 'Pines Express' on June 16, 1962.
Peter Kerslake says "Evercreech Junction, to the south of Shepton Mallet, was an important location on the Somerset & Dorset, and was the junction for the branch line to Highbridge with the station and its surrounds covering a wide area.."
