Peter Kerslake says "1962 was the final year for services on the Somerset and Dorset line across the Mendips. Standard Class 4s began to appear on the line during 1956. 75023 is piloting another of the class on a northbound working towards Bath with the line to the goods yards diverging away to the left, the junction being under the control of Midford 'A' ground frame just out of shot on the extreme right."
