Peter Kerslake says "This view is looking westwards towards Barmouth Junction with 75006 on a Barmouth-Ruabon train. The small two road shed is hidden behind the house on the left, the foreman having his own residence to its rear. The waters of the Mawddach estuary lie to the extreme right. Just one month before it closed in January 1965 they engulfed the line during December 1964, cutting it in a number of places."
