75021 1966 Barmouth
Off 6C Croes Newydd There is a BR coach brake cylinder on the platform a heavy item to move in a passenger brake van!
Peter Kerslake adds "The BR Standard Class 4s came to Wales in the mid 1960s to replace and supplement the GWR Manors which had earlier been the mainstay of passenger workings. 75021 which worked the last down Cambrian Coast Express from Shrewsbury to Aberystwth on 4th March 1967, is heading towards Pwllheli on a local stopping service. This is the northern end of Barmouth, the most important intermediate station on the 50 mile line from Pwllheli to Dovey Junction."
