Passing Earls Court on the West London line, heading towards Kensington Olympia. The LT battery locos the far right centre of the picture are in LTs Lillie Bridge Depot (this also included one of the LT steam depots - the other was at Neasden).
The tracks passing under the WLL are the LT District Lines between Earls Court and, to the right, West Kensington and, to the left, Kensington Olympia. The freight headed by the class 31 is an inter-regional transfer from one of the Southern Region yards - probably Hither Green or Norwood Junction to Temple Mills.
