London, Brighton & South Coast Railway Stroudley 'A1' class 0-6-0 Tank No. 82 'Boxhill'. Built at Brighton in August 1880, withdrawn in August 1946 as SR No. 380S and preserved.

Brighton MPD in April 1958 is the scene for this superb colour photograph of the first of the ten 'Terriers' to be preserved. Note the coupling rods are missing, don't fret they are in the cab!
