Ex-London, Brighton & South Coast Railway L.B. Billinton 'K' class 2-6-0 No. 32352. Built at Brighton in February 1921 as LB&SCR No. 352 and withdrawn in November 1962.

The withdrawal of an entire class of locomotives 'en bloc' was a rarity, but this was the fate of Lawson Billinton's fine 'K' class Moguls in 1962. They were the first 2-6-0's to run on the LB&SCR, and their first with a Belpaire firebox. The tenders were the largest of any LB&SCR locomotive with a capacity of 3940 gallons and 4 tons of coal. They were always well-maintained and turned out in smart appearance as here in May 1956 at Three Bridges MPD in Crawley, West Sussex.
