NBR J35 0-6-0 No 64466 allocated to Thornton Junction at the time on a freight heading south from Kingskettle up towards Falkland Road (and then Markinch) in c1952. The occuparion bridge and sidings were just over a mile south of Kingskettle station.
The siding was the Forthar lime siding, near MP37.
The sign restricted LNER locomotives from entering the Forthar Lime Works Tramway which diverged to the right and can just be seen passing under the roadway and will then go on to the Lime Works & Quarry.
