Ex-North British Railway Reid 'J37' class 0-6-0 No. 64625. Built by NBL of Glasgow in January 1921 as NBR No. 273 and withdrawn in September 1965. Ex-North British Railway Reid 'J35' class 0-6-0 No. 64463. Built by NBL of Glasgow in June 1906 as NBR No. 851 and withdrawn in September 1960.

One of the many sheds that received scant attention from photographers was the ex-Caledonian Railway 2-road through shed at Seafield in West Lothian, which had actually been leased to the NBR/LNER for many years. On this occasion in 1960, at least five ex-NBR locomotives are present plus an ex-LNER 'J38', so it had been worth the journey to the location, 20 miles west of Edinburgh.
