32636 1963-11-03 Havant

The LCGB ‘Hayling Farewell Railtour’ of 3rd November 1963 involved 7 different steam locomotives.
It began at Waterloo where No 30512 took the 9 coach train to Fratton. Then, 34088 and 31791 were involved as far as Havant, (via Portsmouth Barracks) where Terriers Nos 32636 and 32670 top-n-tailed a 5 coach non-corridor set to Hayling Island and back (as seen in this picture). Finally, a pair of Qs Nos 30531/43 took the 9 coach special back to London (Victoria) via Horsham.
