GWR 28XX 2-8-0 No 2887 passing Newton Abbot West box with an up goods on June 14, 1961
Peter Kerslake adds "2887 is certainly not long out of works as it heads into Newton Abbot from the west with the road bridge to Torquay in the right background. Newton Abbot works and depot are in the left background and the two young lads have secured the 'best seats in the house' although their companion appears to have lost interest!"
