SR 1Co-Co1 No 10202 passes Watford Junction with an up express in the late 1950s.
Peter Kerslake says "The first two of the three former Southern Region locomotives, namely 10201 and 10202 were both built at Ashford Works equipped with English Electric type "EESVT" sixteen cylinder diesel engines, with twin banks of six cylinders in a "V" formation producing 1750 horse power, an upgraded unit of the earlier units used in the twin LMS diesels 10000 and 10001."
