The unmistakeable backdrop of Darlington Power Station adjacent to the MPD, is the setting for ex-NER W. Worsdell 'R' (LNER 'D20') 62383. Allocated to Tweedmouth, it has obviously just been returned to traffic after an overhaul at the adjacent works. Photo dated May 1955.
