Midland Railway built ‘2P’ 4-4-0 No.40332 bagged up and stored out of use on Stafford shed. A Crewe North engine, it was in store there from February to September 1956. This was not the end of its working life because it was transferred to Bristol Barrow Road in March 1957 where it lasted until September 1959.
