At Ashton, Northamptonshire, on Saturday, 15th May 1948, ex-Midland Railway Johnson '2' (LMS '2P') class 4-4-0 No. 522, built by Sharp, Stewart & Co. in December 1899 as MR No. 2440, with a down express. It was withdrawn in October 1955 as BR No. 40522.
