It is hard to believe that all this has long since vanished and how tidy and well organised it all is here in "A " Shop in this fine view.
A line of pistons , complete with their cotter pins , used to secure them to the crossheads , are in the foreground together with stacks of eccentrics and sundry bits of valve gear in the right foreground , and I think that must be part of the traverser ahead of the wheels on the right , used to move engines sideways as well as in and out of the Shop.
