Down freight passing Dunstall Park station
View SE, towards Wolverhampton (Low Level). Dunstall Park station was closed 4/3/68, the main line trains from Shrewsbury etc. having been diverted from 6/3/67 onto the ex-LMS main line, following electrification of the latter. The locomotive on the Class H freight is one of the original Churchward '2800' 2-8-0s, No. 2812 and would be withdrawn the following year.
