28xx 1940s Hatton Bank

28xx 1940s Hatton Bank

2-8-0 attacks Hatton bank in the Down Goods Loop at Budbrooke, north of Warwick. The smoke at the rear of the train suggests it is receiving banking assistance.
The signal above the tender is for the Down Main. Just visible above the 13th vehicle (box van) is the top of Budbrook signal box and Up Main signal.
Budbrooke was the name of the nearby village although the signal box was Budbrook.
