The station is still lit by old GWR oil lamps. Note the new sleepers would be roped in the wagons if their stacked height exceed the height of the sides.The station has some unusual PW features, the buffer stop of the yard headshunt in front of the PW hut appears to be 'T' shaped with a central support and therefore not connected to the rails, and the siding on in the other direction (is it a Lie by?) does not have catch points.
