London & North Western Railway double horse Family Omnibus. The railways of Britain nearly all had alternative forms of transport to offer customers. Buses, Char-a-bancs, Hansom Cabs and these prestigious double-horse Family Omnibuses (a single horse version was also available!). Note the bicycle stowed aloft on the luggage rack! This fine image is datd 1904 and was used by the L&NWR on one of their many promotional postcards.
