Southern Region No.30925 Cheltenham had been brought up from Basingstoke to work a RCTS railtour to Darlington and was being given a good dose of Nottingham spit and polish at Annesley on 12th May 1962, the day before. Note the large box of Creamed Rice pudding - are they using this to clean the 'Schools' before its working tomorrow? Cheltenham would be withdrawn at the end of the year along with the other surviving class members.
