Diverted from its normal route the Belmond British Pullman conveying passengers from London Victoria to Folkestone West approaches Ashford on the line from Tonbridge behind DB Cargo 67 001. At Folkestone the passengers will transfer to road coaches for the journey through the Channel Tunnel to Calais where they will join the Continental VSOE train to Venice. The weed covered tracks on the left lead into the former Bombardier Chart Leacon dept which may soon be reactivated by NetworkRail to berth EMUs as part of the ThamesLink extension to Maidstone East.
