The small 10'' cabside numerals are worthy of note. 5576 was one of only 8 Jubilees, all maintained by St Rollox, that had these numerals applied during 1940-45. The loco would appear to be in plain black wartime livery still and is believed to have remained so until BR green was applied in June 1950 .
