On the first part of the Cornishman. Haresfield station was only on the MR despite GWR Swindon to Gloucester services running through the station on parallel tracks.

Peter Kerslake says "Seen here passing Haresfield, on the western side of Gloucester, 45610 has taken over the "Cornishman" at Bristol Temple Meads, doubtless from a "Castle", and is now heading northwards via Cheltenham, Stratford on Avon and Birmingham with the Midland Region signal cleared.
The line next to this working is the down Midland Region line to Bristol whilst the two on the left are those of the Western Region to and from Swindon which will leave the Midland lines at Standish Junction a mile or so ahead.
As this is a view from 1963 the former Wolverhampton destination of the "Cornishman" has now been changed to Sheffield Midland station, later in 1965 being changed again to Bradford, the service being discontinued in May of 1975 although the name was revived in 1987 for a service initially running between Penzance and Newcastle and then to and from Dundee!"
