Ex-LMS Stanier 'Jubilee' class 4-6-0 No. 45695 'Minotaur'. Built at Crewe in March 1936 as LMS No. 5695 and withdrawn in February 1964.

A youngster is seen in July 1963 happily 'spotting' amongst the waist-high long grasses, dandelions and dog daisies as 'Minotaur' passes by at Skew Bridge in Preston. the 'Jubilee' is heading south with a 1M51 coded express. It was such an innocent and now long-lost era.
