Ex-LMS Stanier 'Jubilee' class 4-6-0 No. 45562 'Alberta'. Built by NBL of Glasgow in Aug. 1934 as LMS No.5562 and withdrawn in November 1967.

'Alberta' was the star of many a railtour in the last year or two of the BR steam era. On 10th June 1967 she is in superb exterior condition and has been chartered by the SLS & MLS for their 'Ashington Rail Tour'. This stirring scene is at Plawsworth Viaduct in Co. Durham where 45562 is seen with its train heading southbound.
