Ex-LMS Stanier 'Jubilee' class 4-6-0 No. 45669 'Fisher'. Built at Crewe in December 1935 as LMS No. 5669 and withdrawn in May 1963.

With excellent access to the lineside and long, clear views it's hardly surprising that Ashton in Northamptonshire was on of Les Hanson's favourite locations. This powerful image of 'Fisher' on a lengthy freight in August 1959, has attracted another photographer who is also seen just beyond the telegraph pole. No cotton wool, no palisade fencing, no problems!
