Ex-LMS Stanier 'Jubilee' class 4-6-0 No. 45650 'Blake'. Built at Crewe in Jan. 1935 as LMS No. 5650 and withdrawn in Jan, 1963. Wellingborough Midland Road Station in May 1960 is the scene as 'Blake' (named after General-at-Sea, Robert Blake 1598-1697) makes a magnificent spectacle roaring through with a southbound express.
