LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45568 Western Australia nears Grimston tunnel with the 3pm Nottingham Midland to St.Pancras on May 29, 1950. A lovely picture of the early BR liveries. Apart from the leading coach still in LMS red the remainder of the train looks very smart in new BR red and cream. The loco retains its post war LMS lined black livery but its new BR no. is in the large block style in the cabside but in Gil sans on the smokebox. There appears to be no insignia on the tender.
