‘Jubilee’ No 45739 ‘Ulster’ on an Up train at Bradkirk, travelling towards Kirkham and Wesham from Poulton-le Fylde, probably the 1X84 train returning from Blackpool North. The line on the flyover came from the Up Marton line (to & from Blackpool South) and gave access to the 'Fast Lines' from Kirkham to Preston.
This member of the class became one of only eight to survive into 1967, being withdrawn in January of that year.
