'Jubilee' No.45643 Rodney departs southbound from Derby in the mid-1950s. It has 5A Crewe North shedplate but was on loan to Manchester Longsight from November 1956 until February 1957 which suggests the picture was taken between those dates since that shed's engines worked the Midland line services to London.
