Ian Townend says " I think this was taken in 1935/36. It has an enamelled shed plate, the newer cast plates being introduced in Jan 1935. Also it is paired with its original 4000 gal tender which it swapped in Oct 36 for the Fowler tender from 6131 (subsequently acquiring a new 4000 gal welded tender in July 1939). "
