An unusual photo not least because it shows a Coronation being double-headed. This is post war with the pilot engine 5725 retaining red livery but with a high cabside number. 5725 was an Edge Hill engine between Nov 1947 and Aug 1948 so I think it likely that the photo was taken in 1948 and this is possibly the morning Liverpool and Manchester express being used to get 5725 back towards its home depot. However as to the train engine 6220 was a Polmadie engine and would be unusual for such a service which normally used a Camden Coronation.
