LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45730 Ocean and a class 5 at Beattock bank, near Harthope with a Down express in c1958.

Interestingly 45730 has an unusually placed low cabside number presumably because of the bracket attached to cabside. This was a single line bracket necessary for working the Stranraer route. It had been removed by mid 1961. Both locos appear to have the first BR tender emblem.
