Breezing along ex-CLC lines through the gentle Cheshire countyside near Ashley is an ex-Great Central Railway Robinson '11E' (LNER 'D10') No. 62656 'Sir Clement Royds'. The latter day external appearance of these lovely GCR machines is a sad reflection on what had come to pass. Photograph dated Saturday 26th September 1953.
