No 46210 Lady Patricia ran with a non-combustion chamber domed boiler from January 1956 until withdrawal. This picture shows it arriving at Manchester London Road with an express from Euston, probably in 1956. It has a 6A Chester shedplate although all the records show that it was allocated to Crewe North up to September 1956 and Edge Hill from then until July 1958; none of the class was ever allocated to Chester so the plate must have been put on by mistake.
