Ex- S&DJR locomotive No 72, built 1902. When S&DJR was absorbed into the in 1930, No 72 was renumbered 3216, taking the number of a previously withdrawn locomotive. It continued to work on the S&D and was finally withdrawn by BR in September 1962 as No 43216.
