LNER A3 4-6-2 No 60043 Brown Jack on the up 'Queen of Scots' in Princes Street Gardens Edinburgh. It had a double chmney fitted in February 1959 and smoke deflectors in February 1962. Here it is still allocated to Haymarket so it is before November 1961 (when it went to St Margarets) and the trees tell us it is early summer. As the loco is quite dirty for a 64B A3 I suspect it is summer 1961.
