Long term Carlisle Canal allocated LNER A3 4-6-2 No 60079 Bayardo ex-works on Doncaster shed on 20 May 1950. It had been released in BR Blue livery from 'The Plant' the previous day following a 39 day General Overhaul during which it received a new boiler. Interestingly there is no worksplate visible, just a standard LNER 9 x 5 plate.
