LNER A3 4-6-2 No 60052 Prince Palatine working an Edinburgh-Carlisle (via Newcastle) Scottish Locomotive Preservation Fund special, the last 'A3' special, passing Prestonpans on 5 June 1965. It failed at Carlisle with a hot box.
